Terms of use

1. Who we are

Minimundo is operated by David González Lomeña, a private individual based in Spain (“we”, “us”). Contact: david.glez.lomena@gmail.com.

2. What Minimundo is

Minimundo is a shared digital model that people build together. You can buy pieces of the model, color or draw on them, bid in a daily auction to choose the next featured figure, and add blocks to it. Everything you buy is digital content shown on this website. You don't buy any physical product, ownership of the model, intellectual property rights, tokens or financial assets.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) before you pay: $1 per piece and $1 more per piece with your own color or drawing.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Your bank may apply currency conversion fees.

4. Pieces and right of withdrawal

Selected pieces are reserved for about 30 minutes while you pay. Once the payment is confirmed they are placed on the model immediately. If you are a consumer in the European Union you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase; by ticking the checkbox before paying you expressly ask us to supply the digital content immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once your pieces are placed. If someone else took your pieces while you were paying, we refund the payment automatically.

5. Daily auction

  • Each round lasts 24 hours. The highest bidder when the round closes wins.
  • The first time you bid you save a card with Stripe. Saving it doesn't charge anything.
  • Bids are binding. If your bid is the winning one, the full amount is charged automatically to your saved card when the round closes. Losing bids are never charged.
  • If the winning bid can't be charged, or its figure breaks these terms, the next highest bidder wins at their own bid, and so on. If nobody can win, the community gets a random figure.
  • The winner's figure is featured for the next day, then moves to the museum. Other visitors can add blocks to it.

6. Content rules

Nicknames, drawings, figures and descriptions must not include:

  • hate symbols, extremist imagery or discrimination;
  • sexual content or nudity;
  • insults, harassment, threats or slurs, in any language;
  • violence, gore, self-harm or illegal activities;
  • personal data of other people, spam, or content you don't have the right to use.

Content is reviewed automatically before it's published, and purchases or bids with offensive content are blocked. Automated review can make mistakes in both directions. We may remove or anonymize content that breaks these rules at any time, and paid content removed for that reason isn't refunded. To report something, email us.

7. Your content

You keep any rights you have over what you create. You give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to show, reproduce and share it as part of Minimundo and to promote the project, for as long as the project exists.

8. Nicknames and your browser

Minimundo doesn't use accounts. Your nickname is linked to an identifier stored in your browser. If you clear your browser data or change device, you may lose access to your nickname and saved card for bidding. Keep that in mind before you bid.

9. Age

You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to buy pieces or bid.

10. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep Minimundo online, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error free, and we may change or end the project. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law. Otherwise, to the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

11. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version shown when you pay or bid applies to that purchase or bid. These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory laws of your country and go to the courts where you live.
